Captivated Canine

Hi! I'm Ally, owner of Captivated Canine. I am a dog trainer based in West Michigan, and deeply passionate about pets and people. I have been dog training for eight years and have helped thousands of dogs and their handlers become effective teams. My role is teaching owners how to communicate effectively with their dogs and become successful trainers themselves. 

While my world now revolves around four legged friends, my education background started in social work. During the time I worked with at-risk youth, I brought home my Aussie, Apollo. As we began obedience training I fell absolutely in love with the learning process. After dedicating nearly a year of my free time to studying dog training, an opportunity became available for me to pursue being a trainer myself. I took it and never looked back. 

I have worked with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. My specialties include pet obedience, therapy dog training, and service dog prep. I am also an AKC Canine Good Citizen and Trick Title Evaluator.
